Privacy Policy

• Account information: your name, email, and workspace details you provide when you sign up or are invited.
• Usage information: how you interact with the app (pages, actions) and basic device and log data, used to run and secure the Service.
• Store and camera data: on behalf of our customers, the Service processes video from the cameras a customer connects in order to detect events. We store event records, detection metadata, and detection stills; full video generally stays on the customer’s on-site Edge appliance.

We use information to:

• provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
• surface incidents and send the operational alerts (for example, WhatsApp) that a customer configures;
• communicate with you about your account and the Service.

Detection runs at the edge, close to the store. We keep the event stills and metadata needed to show incidents and reports inside the product. We do not sell your footage or data, and we do not use customer footage to advertise to third parties.

We use trusted service providers, such as cloud hosting, database, and messaging providers, to operate the Service; they process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Homaya, our customers, or the public.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it.

You can access or update your account information, or ask us to delete your data, by contacting us. Customers control which cameras and locations they monitor and are responsible for providing any notices required for the people who may be captured.

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
